Upon arrival at Matsuyama Airport, the coach transfers to Matsuyama and visit Matsuyama Castle (松山城). The castle was constructed on the mountain, and you can enjoy the cherry blossoms while taking the ropeway up to the Matsuyama Castle. Thereafter, transfer to Dogo Onsen town for hotel check-in. Stroll around Dogo Onsen Town (道後温泉) at your own leisure. The main attraction at Dogo Onsen is the Dogo Onsen Honkan, which is said to have served as an inspiration for Miyazaki’s popular animated film “Spirited Away”. Tonight, enjoy your dinner [Japanese Kaiseki] at the hotel.

After breakfast, transfer to Minetopia for Mine Exploring & Gold Panning Experience. Next, proceed to a local restaurant for lunch [Kamameshi Set]. After lunch, proceed to Oboke Valley (大歩危峡) for a River Boat (30min).  Enjoy this relaxing boat ride down the calm part of the Yoshinogawa River as you marvel at the beauty of the scenery here. Visit the amazing suspension bridge made of vines – Kazurabashi Bridge (かずら橋). Finally, transfer to Kotohira for hotel check-in. Tonight, enjoy your dinner [Japanese Kaiseki] at the hotel.

This morning, you will get to experience making the Japanese Sweet “Wasambon”. It is a fine-grained Japanese sugar, traditionally made in the Shikoku prefectures of Tokushima and Kagawa. Next, visit Sanuki Manno Park “Canola Flower“, a recreation spot with many seasonal flowers. This afternoon, lunch [Udon Set] will be served at a local restaurant. After lunch, proceed to Ritsurin Park  (栗林公園). This garden was made over the course of one hundred years, starting from about 370 years ago. Considered one of the best gardens in Japan, it features many ponds, hills, historic trees and beautiful pavilions. Tonight, your dinner [Seasonal Kaiseki] will be served at a local restaurant. At the end of the day, transfer to the hotel for check-in.

After breakfast, enjoy an adventure to see the whirlpools of the Naruto Strait by being onboard the Naruto Whirlpool Sightseeing Cruise (30min) (うずしお観潮船). Naruto Whirlpools is a natural phenomenon that happens twice daily in the strait and is created by large volumes of water moving between the Seto Inland Sea and the Pacific Ocean between high and low tide. After that, proceed to a local farm and enjoy Strawberry Picking which is in season! Next, continue your journey to Hello Kitty Smile. A unique oriental restaurant on Awaji Island. From here, you are able to enter the dream world of the beloved Hello Kitty and experience high-quality cuisine & art. Enjoy your lunch [Hello Kitty Hotpot Set] in this unique restaurant. After that, visit Awaji Hana Sajiki (あわじ花さじき) “Poppy”. A beautiful flower park located on Awaji island and has mass plantings of various flowers throughout the year. Next, head to Kobe city. Free time at Kobe Harborland (神戸ハーバーランド). A shopping and entertainment district between JR Kobe Station and the waterfront of Kobe’s port area. Enjoy your own dinner during your free & easy time in Kobe city. At the end of the day, transfer to the hotel for check-in.

After breakfast, transfer to Kobe city and visit Nunobiki Herb Garden by Ropeway (布引ハーブ園) “Sakura, Tulip & Various Flowers”. It is Japan’s largest herb garden with about 75,000 herbs and flowers of about 200 kinds blooming throughout the year. Thereafter, transfer to Osaka city for hotel check-in. Today, enjoy your own lunch and dinner during your free time in Osaka city.
