Day 2 On boardLD

Hiroshima Airport – Miyajima – Hiroshima 広島空港 - 宮島 - 広島

Upon arrival at Hiroshima Airport, coach transfer to Miyajima Pier. We will transfer to Miyajima Island by ferry. Upon arrival, let’s have lunch [Anagomeshi Set] at a local restaurant. After lunch, visit Itsukushima Shrine (厳島神社). A Shinto shrine on the island of Itsukushima (popularly known as Miyajima), best known for its “floating” torii gate. You will have free time at Miyajima Shopping Street. The shopping street between the ferry terminal and the shrine is a popular spot for buying souvenirs (omiyage), having a meal or picking up a snack. Thereafter, transfer back to Hiroshima city by ferry. Before proceeding to the hotel for check in, photo stop at Peace Memorial Park (平和記念公園), a museum surveys the history of Hiroshima and the advent of the nuclear & Atomic Bomb Dome, the feature of Hiroshima and designated a UNESCO Worlds Heritage Site. Tonight, enjoy your dinner [Buffet] at the hotel restaurant.

Day 3 BLD

Hiroshima – Shimanami – Imabari – Dogo Onsen 広島 - しまなみ - 今治 - 道後温泉

After breakfast, transfer to Shimanami, visit Kosanji Temple (耕三寺). Within the temple grounds, there is a large walking area on top of the hill called Miraishin no Hill (未来心の丘), which means Heights of Eternal Hope for the Future. It is made entirely of marble imported from Italy and features a few abstract statues, including a Statue called Tower of Light at the very peak of the hill. After that, proceed to a local restaurant for lunch [Takomeshi Kaiseki]. After lunch, visit the Imabari Towel Museum (今治タオル美術館). Imabari is the most famous towel city in Japan. The Towel Museum not only showcases a mind-boggling variety of towels but also presents them in artistic ways you never would have thought of before. Thereafter, transfer to Dogo Onsen town for hotel check in. Stroll around Dogo Onsen Town (道後温泉) at your own leisure. The main attraction at Dogo Onsen is the Dogo Onsen Honkan, which is said to have served as an inspiration for Miyazaki’s popular animated film “Spirited Away”. Tonight, enjoy your dinner [Japanese Kaiseki] at the hotel.

Day 3. Imabari Towel Museum

Day 4 BLD

Dogo Onsen – Matsuyama – Uwajima – Shimanto 道後温泉 - 松山 - 宇和島 - 四万十

After breakfast, transfer to Matsuyama and visit Matsuyama Castle (松山城). The castle was constructed on the mountain, and you can enjoy the cherry blossoms while taking the ropeway up to the Matsuyama Castle. This afternoon, lunch [Goshiki Somen Noodle Course] will be served at a local restaurant. Next, transfer to Uwajima to visit one of the biggest Japanese gardens in Shikoku “Nanrakuen Japanese Garden” (南楽園). After that, visit Shimanto River (四万十川), the most limpid stream in Japan. Enjoy the natural beauty of the river by crossing the Sara Chinka Bridge (佐田沈下橋). At the end of the day, transfer to hotel for check in. Tonight, enjoy your dinner [Japanese Kaiseki] at the hotel.

Day 5 BLD

Shimanto – Kochi 四万十 - 高知

After breakfast, transfer to Inomachi Paper Museum to experience the Japanese Paper ”Washi” Making. After that, transfer to a local restaurant for lunch [Seafood Set]. After lunch, proceed to a local farm and enjoy Strawberry Picking which is in season! Thereafter, visit Ryugado Cave (龍河洞), is one of Japan’s best-known limestone caves and has been designated a natural monument and historical site. Tonight, dinner will be served at a local restaurant [Tosa area Local Kaiseki]. Finally, transfer to Kochi city for hotel check in.

Day 5. Strawberry Picking Experience

Day 6 BLD

Kochi – Takamatsu – Shodo Island 高知 - 高松 - 小豆島

After breakfast, let’s proceed to Takamatsu city. This afternoon, you’ll get to experience making your own lunch of Sanuki Udon, a famous noodle in Kagawa Prefecture. Thereafter, you will be transferred to Shodo Island by ferry. Upon arrival at Shodo Island Tonosho Pier, visit Angel Road Beach. While the level of the tide changes frequently, a low tide can open up a path to Yoshima, which you can walk to. This romantic place is believed that your wish may come true if you cross the path with your loved one. Tonight, enjoy your dinner [Japanese Kaiseki] and natural hot spring at the hotel.

Day 7 BL-

Shodo Island – Kobe 小豆島 - 神戸
Kobe Bay Sheraton Hotel & Towers or similar / Western room

After breakfast at the hotel, transfer to Inoue Seikoen (井上誠耕園) for Olive Oil Making Experience and stroll around at Olive Field. Visit Olive Park, ”A landmark of Shodo Island”. Have lunch at a local restaurant at Olive Park [Hamo Fish and Pork Rice Bowl]. After lunch, transfer to Himeji Port by ferry from Fukuda Pier. Upon arrival, transfer to Kobe city. Free time at Kobe Harborland (神戸ハーバーランド). A shopping and entertainment district between JR Kobe Station and the waterfront of Kobe’s port area. Enjoy your own dinner during your free & easy time in Kobe city.

Day 8 B--

Kobe – Osaka – Kansai Airport – Singapore 神戸 - 大阪 - 関西 - 新加坡

After breakfast at the hotel, free at your own leisure until lunch time (own expense). In the afternoon, you will be transferred to Osaka city and visit Osaka Castle Park (No Entry to Castle). Stroll around by yourself at Dotonbori and Shinsaibashi, is the best-known shopping area in Osaka, and an enduring symbol of the city. Dinner is at your own expense.
