Upon arrival at Fukuoka Airport, coach transfer to Karatsu Castle (唐津城), built in 1608. This castle is located facing the sea and is situated in the northern part of Karatsu City. After that, proceed to a local restaurant for lunch [Aradaki Set]. After lunch, continue your journey at Imari Okawachiyama Pottery Town (大川内山), a small village in the mountains of Imari city that specializes in pottery. With its unique scenery giving the impression of a landscape painting, Okawachiyama is surely the “Village of the Secret Kilns”. Thereafter, visit Mifuneyama Rakuen (御船山楽園). In spring, the park is reminiscent of a Shan Shui painting, with 2000 cherry blossom trees all blooming against a backdrop of the rugged cliff of Mt. Mifune. Enjoy the magnificent view there. Finally, transfer to Ureshino Onsen town for hotel check in and enjoy your dinner [Japanese Kaiseki] at the hotel.
After breakfast, visit Yutoku Inari Shrine (祐徳稲荷神社). This Shrine is known for its vermillion-lacquered main shrine building, built on a slope, and is sometimes called the Nikko of Chinzei. After this, proceed to a local restaurant for lunch [Buffet]. After lunch, transfer to Omura Park (大村公園), which is officially recognized as one of the top 100 cherry blossom spots in Japan. Here, you will have the Kimono Wearing Experience and stroll around the park at your own pace. Thereafter, you will stop by Castella Land where the famous local products “sweet golden cakes” are sold and also Hot Foot 105, the longest foot bath in Japan opened in Obama hot springs. Head to Unzen town for hotel check in. Tonight, enjoy your dinner [Japanese Kaiseki] at the hotel.
This morning, visit Unzen Hell (雲仙地獄). High-temperature hot springs and gasses erupt violently from everywhere, and with the strong smell of sulfur, the steamy scenery evokes a vision of hell. After that, visit Vedro Museum (雲仙ビードロ美術館). This museum has a collection of glass, porcelain and paintings. Today, you will get to experience the Original Kaleidoscope Making here. After lunch [Guzoni & Tempura Set], move on to Shimabara Port (島原港) to take the Ferry to Kumamoto (熊本) (around 30min). Upon arrival, proceed to the Kumamoto Castle (Outside), which is considered to be one of the three most famous castles in Japan and bustling with numerous tourists throughout the year. Continue your journey to visit Josaien (城彩苑). Located at the foot of Kumamoto Castle, it brings together 23 shops selling specialty items unique to Kumamoto Prefecture. After this, shopping at Kamidori and Shimodori Shopping Arcade (繁華街 &歓楽街 ), the largest shopping arcade in Western Japan located in the arcade are numerous shops and stores including department and electric shops, pharmacies and clothing stores. Tonight, enjoy your dinner [Sukiyaki Pork with Rice Set] at a local restaurant.
This morning, start your day at Yanagawa city. Take the Yanagawa River Boat Ride (30mins). This boat passes by various rural places in the city so enjoy the beautiful scenery alongside the unique environment. After that, proceed to a local restaurant for lunch [Steamed Eel Set]. After lunch, continue your journey to Beppu. Beppu is famous for its unique and numerous hot springs. There are several thermal vents that produced water too hot for hot springs, make up a unique part of Japan – its 8 “Hells”. Among these, you will visit two hells, which is Sea Hell（海地獄）and Oniishi Bozu Hell（鬼石坊主地獄）. Finally, transfer to Yufuin for hotel check in. Tonight, enjoy your dinner [Japanese Kaiseki] at the hotel.
After breakfast, take a stroll at Yufuin Yunotsubo Street（湯の坪街道) and explore more about this rural little onsen town by yourself. This afternoon, your lunch [Grilled Chicken Set] will be served at a local restaurant. After lunch, the Japanese orchard awaits you. Enjoy the Fruit Picking (Strawberry) which is just in season! Thereafter, transfer to Fukuoka city. Free at your own leisure at AMU Plaza Hakata & Hakata Hankyu for shopping. Tonight, your dinner [Shabu-shabu Course] will be served at a local restaurant.
This morning, start your day at Umino Nakamichi Seaside Park (海の中道海浜公園), is a sprawling, family oriented public park located on a narrow peninsula across the bay from central Fukuoka. In spring, there are about 2000 cherry trees planted around the lawns and along the cycling trails, which form beautiful cherry blossom tunnels when in bloom. After that, proceed to a local restaurant for lunch [Buffet]. After lunch, you will have a Hakata Doll Painting Experience. Thereafter, transfer back to Hakata city. Enjoy your dinner during your free and easy time in Hakata city.
